The froshy crew of Jon Eng, Andrew Tsai, Alex Lin and Brian Colella finished in 3rd at the Mid Winter Classic in 9:56. Jon had a great lead off leg and BC brought it home with a great last 200. Congrats boys. Jacob Yang and Raghav both ran great races to lead the JV A team to a 9:37.

Boys 3rd, Girls

The Boys distance crew scored 28 of the teams 44 points in only 3 events with zero doubling! Arthur Eng led the crew with a huge win and an indoor PB of 4:46. Jon Tai led the 800 crew with a PB of 2:07 and Vinay Nathan and Jason Liao fought hard to a near tie in the 3200. The finish was so close that the photo timers thought they were one person! All that was great, but Brian Tsai, coming out of the 3rd heat not only won his race, but also earned 3rd place overall! For that he wins The Stinger of the Meet.

The girls also had a great day. Lennon Cooper and Allison Tracy got things rolling with a good 4-5 finish in the 800. With some patience, Cooper will run much faster! Allison did a great job in her first race. If she gets some confidence, she could be a 2:25er. In the 1600, Alexa Grajo ran a tough race in the seeded heat for a 6:07, which Jill Sadowski TIED in the next heat. they both earned 5th place when it was all said and done. Great job to both of them!

Boys mount MAJOR Comeback at Group 2

4th at Sectionals...Seniors had a bad day...All that disappeared on Saturday when the seniors led a magnificent charge on the rain-soaked Holmdel course. Stark's new game plan to get out slower sparked a big PB and a 20th place finish in Group 2 (he was 27th in the section!). Kyle Monga seemed to hold our 3-6 runner together with a strong middle mile and certainly helped lead Fodor down that last mile. Friedel won the meet for us over the last mile as he passed several runners to pass RBR. We beat RBR by 6, and Friedel 3 guys ion the last 100 alone, one of which was an RBR runners (that's 4 points in 100 meters!). He passed a few more from the tennis courts into the finish. Oliver, as he has done all year led this team with great confidence. He had a great couple days! We can run faster...we can be top 10...
